Dear Friends & Neighbors,

It seems impossible that 2021 is rapidly coming to a close! It seems like just weeks ago I was saying the same about 2020 and just a little bit before that I was packing up a moving truck and heading back to north Iowa. A decision I’m still so, so glad became a reality for me. I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, I am so happy to be back home. This community has proven time and time again how resilient it is and how much we care for each other.

It’s been another tough year for non-profits throughout our community. Our little radio station is no different. We’ve been working hard with what we’ve got. Our big focuses have been music and community involvement.

On the music side, we’ve been taking a deep dive into our music library! I’m sure you’ve heard the difference. We’ve still got all of your favorite tunes including inspirational songs, big band music, and classics. But we’ve also added hours and hours of music! We added more than 8 hours of 70’s songs, a bunch of musical scores you are sure to recognize from your favorite movies and a lot of music from current artists that we feel still deliver on our message – Music for Your Heart, Mind, & Spirit.

Much like everyone else in our community, we’ve slowly been working our way back into the public as well. Earlier this fall, we took part in Project Gratitude, where we put up hundreds of signs of encouragement in Mason City’s Central Park. It was a great way for local businesses to engage with YOU, our listeners. It’s been really fun driving around the towns all around north Iowa and seeing those signs. Every time I see one, I feel a deep sense of pride in our mission and what our small but mighty crew is able to accomplish.

I’m writing you today to ask for your help. It’s no secret that organizations like ours rely on the kindness of our listeners. If you are able, your financial support would mean the world to us. Any amount helps, truly. And there are so many ways you can give!

As always, we hope this note finds you and yours well and we look forward to seeing you all in the near future!

Sincerely,

Amy Kaduce
